Nobody uses every page equally. Drag your menus into the order that fits your work, and the layout is personal to you.
How it works
Two menus can be rearranged: the main sidebar and the navigation your clients see in their portal. There's no edit mode to switch on and no save button to remember. The two menus are independent, so tidying your sidebar never changes what your clients see.
- Grab an item. Hover over any entry and the cursor becomes a grab hand. Click and hold, then start dragging.
- Drop it where it belongs. A drop marker follows along, showing exactly where the item will slot in. You can move items within a group or reorder whole sections.
- Let go. The new order saves automatically and it's waiting for you next time you sign in.
- Reset if you change your mind. A Reset menu button appears with any menu you've customized; one click restores the default order.
The order is personal. Your sidebar never changes for a teammate, and theirs never changes for you, so the litigator who lives in matters and the bookkeeper who lives in invoices can each have the workspace lead with their own work.
Clients can do the same in their portal: their navigation runs across the top rather than down the side, but dragging works exactly the same way, and their order only affects them. A client who checks invoices weekly can put invoices first without you lifting a finger.
Put the two or three pages you open every morning at the top, and drag the ones you touch once a quarter to the bottom. It sounds small, but it removes a dozen little scans from every day.
Reordering only changes position, never access. Everything stays exactly as available as before; it's simply where you left it.
