The Timesheets section in the sidebar is where tracked time comes together, whether you're checking your own week or reviewing the whole team's.
The Timesheets table
The main Timesheets page is one big table of tracked time, with the staff member, client, contact, project or matter, and task alongside each row. You can filter by client, contact, project or team member, search as you type, sort any column, and show or hide columns to build the exact view you want. A totals row adds up what's on screen, and you can export what you see.
Manage: time on a calendar
Manage shows time entries laid out on a calendar. From here you can:
- Log time directly. Add an entry against one of your tasks without opening the task itself. You can only log time on tasks assigned to you.
- Adjust an entry. Drag it to change its start or end, or click it to open and edit the details.
- Delete your own entries. Only admins can remove someone else's.
Depending on your firm's settings, entries on completed tasks may be locked against adding or editing.
Summary: the reporting view
Summary rolls logged time up into totals, grouped however you like: by task, by staff member, by task status, or by the client or project the work belongs to, with a column per month. Filter by team member, status, billable or not, tags, and any date range from today to a custom span. You can also choose whether the hourly rate comes from the staff member or the task.
Saved filters
Any combination of filters can be saved under a name and reused, and you can mark one as your default so the page opens the way you like it. Saved sets live under Sheet Templates.
If you only have permission to view your own time, all of these pages simply show your entries and nobody else's. Nothing extra to configure.
